In
case you have not heard the news yet, Lucas film has
cut the Cartoon Network show Star Wars: The Clone Wars. With
the news of the cancellation, Lucas film announced
that they will be working on another animated series for a time line
that currently has yet been nearly untouched by the franchise.
Rumors of many other shows in Cartoon Network's line ups are
being said to be cut. At the present, I am unsure if this means
that the network may be taking their programing in a new direction,
or if it is all coincidence, but it reminds me of early 2000's when
Fox Kid's seemed to drop all their shows at one time and tried to
take their children programing a different way. Some of us may
not remember it, but at one time, Fox Kids was the home of Power
Rangers, Digimon, and many other shows that became iconic in the
90's.
